ABOUT
Betsiefest is a community event centered on life, community, and music. Listen to our bands, hang out with your family, and just have a good time.
Betsiefest is donations-based, and proceeds of the event are given to a beneficiary in the community. The beneficiary this year is Growing Gardens, an Oregon based 501(c)3 nonprofit growing food in schools, backyards, and correctional facilities to cultivate healthy and equitable communities. There is a $40 suggested donation per person to attend the event. If you’re feelin’ groovy and would like to help out our cause, we would love that!

Bring your own everything to enjoy the day! We've set up the music and facilities on Jeff's beautiful property. Bring food and beverage contributions and share a picnic with family and friends.

Who was Betsie?
Betsie Och was a beloved friend, mother, daughter, sister, partner, and a spirited woman. She passed away from cancer in 2010. In her memory, her friends and family have organized Betsiefest Northwest, a music and family gathering, every year since her passing.

What is Betsiefest?
Betsiefest was originally an event celebrating Betsie and her life, but has evolved into a celebration of all life. Betsiefest started in Betsie’s backyard, with a few bands called in due to Betsie’s love of music. The event continued every year to honor Betsie and over time moved to Sauvie Island. Betsiefest is a one-day event with an overnight camping section. Enjoy good music with a community dedicated to celebrating life and living life to the fullest.
